The BBC’s free online schooling platform for children from 3 to 16, BBC Bitesize helps both children and parents plan and support home learning and revision.
Forming part of a select group of suppliers to their Mobile Application Framework after a successfully tender, xDesign supported the delivery of brand new features for the BBC Bitesize mobile app, going on to deliver a further two phases from the Bitesize app, before phasing it back into the internal BBC team.
The world’s leading online e-learning platform with over 11.5 million users, Udacity enables students to sign up and learn on demand, with thousands of courses ranging from Cloud Computing, to Software Engineering and Business Studies.
Udacity chose xDesign to help boost their existing mobile team and support them in the delivery of multiple core features within their native iOS and Android code base. Adhering to the high standards set by their internal San Francisco Engineering team, we integrated with their DevOps, QA and Continuous Integration pipelines to form an extension of their US-based team.
